I have volunteered and walked at many cancer walks, and here is another one I've decided to do. It's called Light The Night, it's about 10 miles.
I was diagnosed in 2005, I want to help out in every way I can. And you can too guys. Please donate whatever you can, it's for Lymphoma research, the cancer I have so it means even more to me than any other I've done.

i've seen around people posting a little about themselves, and i thought i would join and become one of the sheep as well.

i'm a film major in college, so i would fall madly in love with anything television or movie related you would craft for me. and yes i know my movie choices aren't classics by any means, but who says they should be?
movies i love: anything tim burton, grease, seven brides for seven brothers, cry baby, can't hardly wait, empire records, wayne's world, indiana jones, dawn of the dead (original), aladdin
television i love: buffy the vampire slayer, friends, felicity, sex and the city, tales from the crypt, lost, gilmore girls, alias, battlestar galactica, queer as folk

i also have an obcession with 80's music. and you know...you can never find any good 80's memorabilia anymore. i'd love anything crafty involving the 80's.
music i love: wham!, huey lewis & the news, adam & the ants, steve winwood, the the, the cure, depeche mode, new order, motley crue, poison, the scorpions, madonna
non 80's music i love: foo fighters, nirvana, blink-182, tenacious d, k's choice, cky, metallica

colors i love: browns, blues, baby pink, black, dark dark reds
colors i hate: yellow, bright red, lime green
things i'm allergic to: duct tape, tape, pretty much all tape. only the sticky side though.
shirt i wear: youth large, or adult small. i like black shirts to wear, or browns. i'm not a fan of white shirts.
things i don't want: rings and bracelets. with my illness my hands and wrists swell all the time so i can't really wear anything. i also don't need any trinket boxes, i honestly would have nowhere to put it.
things i would love: i love huge purses. ones you can fit tons of books, groceries, pretty much your whole house in kind of huge. i also love necklaces, magnets, journals, wall art, dolls, clay figures, scarfs, and headbands.

i can't wait to craft for you, seriously it's my new obcession and it's kind of sad heh. anyway, here are some things you might want to know about me, and what i love to make, etc.:
- i love felt. sewing it, glueing it, making dolls with it, pretty much anything you can think of i love doing with felt. if you don't want wool felt let me know, i have pretty much every kind of felt and can make you something with more animal friendly cloth.
- i love making polymer clay figurines. none are life-like, more of a cutesy type. if you have a child and don't want one, or just don't like clay let me know.
- i make dolls. i'm working on humans, but right now animals are my thing. all are about the size of your hand though so nothing too big.
- i have a cat. he's my life. but he's a shedding machine. he's long-haired too so it gets everywhere you can think of. in fact i think there's one in my eye hang on...ok. so if you are allergic let me know, i can try to use one of those lint things and remove as much as possible.
- i tend to try something new every swap i join. just something i like to do to see if i like it. so far it's been pretty great.
- i'm new to sewing. not hand sewing, but using a sewing machine. so if it isn't perfect, or straight lined i apologize. i'm working on it i swear.

so i attended dragon*con last year, and the cast of firefly was there. well 4 of them (adam, ron, jewel, and morena). anyway, i took pictures and i completely forgot about them until just now. so here they are if you're curious. sorry they are kinda crappy quality my battery was dying and that guy in the jayne hat in front of me was in almost all my shots haha.
and um...i tried to take pics of adam baldwin the whole time so he's in all of them i think. :x

I don't know about you, but I personally get frustrated with the fact Queer As Folk episodes only have numbers, and no names. It's hard to remember, I always have to check the episode guides to remember my favorites.
So I was talking to peach_passion about my frustration and I thought, "Why not make names myself?" Yes it was tedious, and yes it was five times harder than I thought...but I did it. And then I thought, "Why not share the names I've come up with and have people pick there favorites? Maybe they share my frustration and would like names for them."
Here it is. Seasons 1-3 named. I know there are 5 seasons, but I haven't seen all of season 4 or 5 and I thought it would be kind of silly to name something I haven't really seen. So only 3 seasons, but 3 is better than nothing I think.
What I am asking you to do is vote for your favorite name for each episode. Only one per episode please. I'm going to tally up the answers and those that win will be the official names from now on. Well for me to use, and you can use them too of course!
Most have 3 options, some have 2. If you have a name that I didn't list that's even cooler than the one I came up with suggest it, I'll put it up.
So on to the names. I have also explained the names of some, and I have summaries of the episodes for those who can't remember by numbers (hence the reason for the names).
